Tank Decor and habitat recreation

Postby Thefishkeeper on Sat Dec 07, 2002 10:07 pm

I want my new fish tank to resemble natural habitat of my Arowana, and Oscar. I want it to have a strong water current flow like in river habitat and to have log and tree debis and rock look to it. That amazon dark but with some light getting threw look. Anyone got any ideas or suggestions on achieving these effects? Especially the flow and log debis effect I am not sure what to use to get the turbulant water effect.

A powerhead (or a few) would work. And if you want the top of the water to be turbulant? aim the powerhead(s) at your rock or logs you put in your tank.
