Custom Made Filter,,,it works!!

"guess I'll take today off then
and make a vac tomorrow"

At least somebody has their priorities in order :D

Junior, the vac is very simple. Take an existing vaccum tub and cut it down to around 9 inches (Just seems to be a bit easier to use). Try to cut the shortest 1/2 (ID) tubing you can to connet to the vac tub. The longer the tub, the harder to control under water. For the filter I took an old plastic fish food container and drilled holes throughout the sides. I stuff a bag filter down inside the container. Cut a hole in the container lid and place a small, in my case, 3/4" tubing into the hole, place the 3/4 tubing over the output of the pump, place a bag filter down inside the plastic container and screw the lid on...that's it man. My second pic is how clean I was able to get my rocks tonight without a water change. You'll notice how clean the water is as well. Let me know how it works for you.

PS ( I used a Penguin 550 for the pump)
