Daino - tail problem

Postby MsRusty on Wed Feb 06, 2002 12:15 pm

I have 3 Zebra Danios and 3 Long Blue Fin Zebra Dainos. One of my Long Blue Fins is getting its tail eaten by the others. It was just a little but this morning more than 1/2 of it is gone! I am not sure what to do. The other danios are always nipping this one but not the others. All are females. Is there anything I can do for it?

Probably best to seperate them by the sounds of it. Watch out for any secondary infections.

Daino - tail problem

Danio's are very nippy fish and the lowest man on the totem pole usually gets picked to death. Either seperate them fast, our get 6-10 more this will spread out any nipping/aggression so that no one fish gets too much.
