what size tank/requirements would i need to house either one of these species? i realise neither are particularly active, or attractive fish, call it more a morbid curiosity i have with them

im not 100% sure but i have heard that stonefish r very venomous (sp) and can kill u if u get stung, maybe im thinking of another fish, cause i dont think any LFS would sell them.

oh, i know how venomous they are, and i am pretty sure that they can be stocked on request...

Same conditions as most a normal saltwater tank. They get to about 35cm long and probably be best in at least a 200litre tank. Probably wouldnt be a good idea to have too many expensive tank mates as stone fish can hunt and eat fish twice their size.
In the Aquarium they will eat chopped fish,krill and prawns(or shrimp)
I would never own one LOL
