Comments on layout,colurs etc anybody?

i'll try to work on something also, i was thinking maybe we let webvisitors vote on which style they like etc....or maybe we just rotate different versions once in a while.....that way doesn't look the same all the time...

I like the background quite a lot and also the placement isnt bad for the graphics but i dont like the background for the links for the pages at all (the bluish green color). It is aweful and i think that it clashes with the other background. Possibly a white with a dark blue text color might look good.

I like what youv'e done except for one thing. Its not symetrical.

I don't like the where the Oscar that says "cichlidfish forums" is placed. Could we try enlarging it and centering it?

Two things that I think would be a little addition to make it a little better.
1. Fix the background.
This would make it where the water stays the same and the font moves.
2. Add a a different color when you are hovering over the links and also add tags to the links.
To do #1 you would put bgproperties=fixed in the body tag.
#2 all you would have to put is a vlink=00aa77 (put color in where 00aa77 is). To add a help tag for any link or pics put it in the tag its self ex.

That would make it say My Lutino Oscar when you hovered over the pic. The vlink will make the text change color when hovering over a link.
Just some quick suggestions. If I ever get some time to work on it at home and not work, and responses from some other sites where I am trying to get pics from I will get started on another version for a possible homepage ideas.

After thinking about it with the color of background that you have, I dont know wether it would look good or not, You might try it and see if you like it or not and then go with what you like. I just think that it looks cool sometimes and it sets it out from just a plain homepage.

Hey you can change whatever you want on the home page, Just PLEASE donttake away the little cichlidfish.com. that follows your curser around. I love that thing, It keeps me busy for hours.
