Joe, what kind of viewer do I need to see the movies? I can't access them. I have windows media player, real player, and shockwave.

Hi Jen,

Sorry, I think they are *.mov so you need Quicktime, you know that thing by "Apple" company. You can get it for free from www.apple.com but I think i'll put the file on the server, ok now i put it on www.cichlidfish.com/utilities.shtml and there's a Utilities link on the main page to there also. Soon, I'll need to redo the aesthetics of the website again, I've been adding functionality but havn't done anything about making it "look" better...
How about a Contest on who can make the nicest 300wide by 75pixels High LOGO and how about a BACKGROUND image too. the Logo would replace that logo on top left on the BBS. Anyway, i've been meaning to create some graphics but like always too many things to do

I made most of the backgrouns on my page, if you are looking for something like one of them, I could probably work on it. Simple backgrounds are a piece of cake with a good editor. Nice page, I see you have the whole family on there well, except for the oscar
You know now that I think about it, I think I have a CD somewhere with a bunch of bacgrounds etc....I'll try to dig it up, might save doing some 'work' I am think though of redoing the whole website "motif" ie get rid of the reddish/pink and go with an aquarium look, more blue etc.....what do you think?

Nope, i'll have to go check it out. Pretty cool, the "Who's online" thing says there's 4 People on the BBS right now o yea, to get to the page that has the who's online thing when you're inside a thread replying, just click on the "utlimage bulleting board" logo at the top left...

Ok, got the movie player. I watched the shortest one, when my kids take their naps I'll look at a bigger one! Try to anyway!

Hi Jen,

Unfortunately the movies are bad quality, tooo dark. Well it was dark but mainly it's because I took the movies with my digital-camera the Nikon 990 coolpix which is great for still images but not good for video. I use a Sony TRV 310 digital video camera for shooting video, but those will be in *.avi format not in *.mov. O yea, what do you think of the "Message Icon:" feature. Do you want it or is it annoying? I kind of don't like too many small graphics icons all over the place, not sure what others think though.

I don't think it's big enough to be annoying. Also it lets someone who's really upset, or really happy show that. It will also help if somone has an urgent message, they can show that too. I kinda like it. But that's just my opinion You could make a poll about it? Or just talk about it in the chat.

Yea, I like the new smiles format but like you said, TOO many Icon's make it look like a Barney Site. HAHA! Just an opinion. Might edit it later on. We will have to wait and see what everyone likes.

Yea, main thing is I'm worried with too many icons and graphics buttons things will look confusing. I kind of like simplicity and expect everything to serve a 'practical' purpose
