my two osacrs are doing everything right but nothing is happening. is it supost to take a week are somthing just wondering. i just need some info.

It can go off and on for ages,days,weeks,months even.

do they just stop and start. is that what you are saying. because that is what mine are doing during the day they will just glide around but at night they will realy get in to it. just need to know if thats the norm. thanks

thats normal for oscasrs to only do it at night, Mine have spawned 3 times and only in the night every time. my O's acted like they were spawining(lip locking, fin vibrating, clearing off slate...) for about 4 mounths before any thing happened. So just be patient and they'll do it soon. How big are your oscars, alot of time they'll pair off small and spawn when there 8-9in.

both my babes are about 8 to 9 inches and about two pounds. thanks for the info its just the waiting part i cant stand and all the playing they i just want them to get done to biz iv already got byers for the babs. not that i want to get ride of them but i got to make some of this maoney back my wife is about to strangle me. but thanks for the info.

Oh I know its the same with people, You have to go out with a girl for like a 4 months before you "get down to biz". And thats all yo want to do, but the girls are Always like I want to get to know you better first, or i want comitment first, or the worst we can still be friends. I guess oscars realy are like people.
They should sell hooker fish at the LFS lol
