Any simple way to sex festivums? I just bought two and they are only an inch and a quarter to one-one-half inch long. Pet store said it was too early. Is there a visible 'doobie' on the males? thanks

Not sure about them but you can try usual way of cichlid sexing by venting, you can search on this bbs for more details, basically on male , anus and genital papillae should be about same size, on females genital papillae bigger than anus etc...
