I want to get a bubble wand but don't know which one to get... Are they all the same, or should I stick with a certain brand? Thanks!

Bubble wands are pretty much all the same. Some might last longer then others. You can choose from wooden bubble wands to circluar bubble wands etc. I just use the cheap ones you can buy from Wal-Mart. The only advantage would be appearance. You can buy one that is brownish in color to match most gravel beds.

Alright. I was just going to get one while I was ordering my Fluval... Oh, guess what? I'm getting a new tank!

Wonderful! What kind of setup are you going to go with such as size, fish, fresh or salt water?

Well, I was in the store looking at an 80gal. I was about to do the deed, when this girl that I know who works there, said that she could get me a used one cheap (do you go to the store too much when you know the people that work there?). Anyways, apparantly someone is buying a 125 and wants to get rid of their old tank. It's only a 55. I was planning on getting a larger one, but hey: I can't pass up a great deal. I don't know what kind of stand it has, so nothing's definite now, but i'm still pretty excited about it.

First off, I want to move my oscars into the new tank. They deserve it (not to mention need it). I knew when I got them that I would have to get a new tank; I guess now's a good time!

I was thinking about *maybe* trying salt water in my current tank (30gal). That's tentative though. I also (probably more feasible) was thinking about doing a "lake fish" tank. I used to have a perch, and he was one of my favorites. Some day I would like to learn how to do salt water though.

My mom just gave me a kitten (I think she's ready for me to have kids and is hinting.....). I like my fish better.

I did see a REALLY nice tank while I was shopping. Someday, when I own my own home, i'll have a tank like this one. It was 285 gallons on a mahogany base with a mahogany canopy. Some day.....
