I was planing on getting a fluidized bed filter after i found out that its hard to make a wet dry filter and how they can over flow very easy and how that there not as effective as fluidized beds. Should i get one or no? It makes sence seeing theres alot of serface area on the silicon media. Let me know your views on this guys

I really dont know much about them, but the theory behind them is strong and sound. You might want to have some other form of mechanical filtration since I believe the FB filters only work biologically and not mechanicly.

One thing this will not be my only filter. i was going to hook the the fludized bed filter to my fluval filter. so it wont clog with fish gung and poo. So when combined it will be a ultumite filter.
