I fed my oscars some live blood worms about a year and a half ago. Just call me stupid. It has taken them a while but they now own my tank. My two tigers don't even give them a second look anymore. Guess they got tired of the same old thing. I did a 100% water change and I even washed the rocks. I mean really washed them. I put them in a plastic trash can and boiled enough water to cover them then washed them. When I put them back in the tank I poured them in slowly so I could see any worms if there were any. I thought I got rid of them but they are back. I am thinking of just getting new rock. Any Ideas??

Soak the rocks etc..anything else you suspect maybe harboring worms, eggs etc..into CHLORINE, rinse everything well after of course....and maybe add an extra dose of anti-chlorine water treatment stuff to tank...

Great, good luck. Also, if you don't get around to take out all the water and rocks etc.. try adding some salt to the tank

I added about one teaspoon per ten gal. is that enough to get rid of them? I did notice that they didn't like it at all.

Hi, you can add some more and make it 1 per 5gallons....hopefully it'll kill them

depending on what kind of filter you have there may be some in there that keep repopulating the tank, they breed like crazy. You might also try getting a bottom feeder that loves worms, not sure but clown loaches might do it.
