As of this moment i vow to engineer the perfect goldfish.... Killer Goldfish! They will be tolerated no more. These Killer fish will get their cruel revenge on other species of fish that have fed on their ancestors. Once the Killer Fish has reached its peak violence, i will release them into the oceans, lakes, rivers, ponds, and water supply. their horrible steel jaws will destroy all fish, and mankind. this is the problem. i need some help. anybody? or should i use penguins? oh well. whens the next chat?

well since it would take alot of work to complete this , i think im going to just be normal. No penguins No Goldfish. But you have to admit, it was a pretty good idea. You all know that you were thinking the same exact thing. I am intrested in getting a bass or some other wild fish. where else besides nature could i get one. thanks!

Read the "wild fish" topic in Oscar cichlids. It's pretty funny!! I don't think you can get one from a store. Maybe if you know someone who already has one? I want a rock bass because they are very pretty. They have these cool red eyes! We caught one in a stream, but didn't bring it home. There are pretty tight resrtictions on wild fish in tanks though, so I would look into that before you go and get caught with one. But if you ask me? I think it would be worth the investigating! Good luck!

Actually, I'm interested in "sporting" fish that can do ok at 80F. I don't think trout like 80F....by the way, I heard that bass are pretty aggressive fish......a bit off-topic but reminds me....any of you heard of a human attacked by baracuda? Saw something on tv of a woman who was attacked by pretty big barracuda, her arm was all messed up ....

Yea I bet she was wearing something shinny like a bracelet or watch or something. When we went snorkling on our cruise this summer they told us to take off all reflective materials and our jewerly so the fish wouldn't "attack us". And have you ever seen a barrac. move thru the water!! Like a fricken' bullet w/ many teeth!

Barracuda are extermely aggressive fish. We sport fish them here in Florida. I can remember being out on the Gulf and cought one on a leader. This fish litteraly jumped into the boat right at us. One of us had to hold him down with his foot and the other used long nose pliers to remove the leader. Picked the barracuda up with a fish net. Before we could dump him out he cut threw the net. Perhaps this fish was cought so many times he was just fed up? Who knows.. Anytype of silver or flashy jewerly will attract them. After all their main diet is pure silver in color...

S42k, I'm not too good with ocean fish and I remember one time catching two VERY silvery fish. They were very SHINY, long and thing. Looked like probably did have teeth. They tried to bite us too. Have any idea what they were? Again, they were really shiny, silver color, the whole fish. I wish I'd kept them and made a saltwater tank .
