my blood parrot's tail is 1/4 black not solid but its close his other fins also have black on them Also his eyes are startin to cloud black please help is this contagiouse im worried about my tank

Not sure if this is what you got but, anyway is it BROWN or BLACK color? if brown, grey or white probably a Fungus(use Methylene blue) if Black:Black Spot DISEASE Caused by the larval stage of digenetic fluke parasites, such as Clinostomum, Posthodiplostomum and Dipplostomum.
SYMPTOMS Black color cysts develop on the body and fins. Small numbers cal do little harm but large numbers can harm small fish.
TREATMENT Very rarely necessary and is difficult if not impossible.
PREVENTION Avoid obviously infected fish and discourage fish-eating birds from visiting garden ponds to prevent the life cycle being completed.

Is this contagious its black but its not spots they are really big and it was all of the sudden they look like black streaks not spots do u think i should remove the fish from my tank im worried about my oscars mostly catching it thanks dj

Hi Dj,

Not sure what you've got but It's always good to separate infected fish, better yet to move "un-infected" fish to a clean aquarium.....do some big water changes or do a total overhaul on that tank....
