Help! death is sweeping my aquarium!!!!!!!

something is killing my fish! The water was just changed when my turquoise jewel became a floater (with fresh treatd water) and my little baby african went upside down as well. what could be causing this horrible massacre of fish??????

did you recently add any fish? or was this an established tank already?

take your water to a local fish store and have it tested for nitrites, ammonia, and nitrates. sometimes when ammonia is high, doing a water change alters the pH, making the ammonia much more deadly. this could be what happened if you didn't change the water often enough. also post what size tank, filtration, stocking level of tank, frequency of water changes, and any other info you think might help us.

Did you remember to treat for chlorine etc after your water change? was it a big water change or small? as mentioned may be good to check the nitrite, nitrates, ammonia etc levels.
