Lots of questions . . .and a little bad news:(

Before I went to school today there were about 10 of my 50 original eggs left by the time I got back there were only about 5. I removed my Red Devil thinking he was the problem. But now all the eggs are gone, I noticed that when the Oscars are 'Fanning' the eggs they are blowing all over the place and getting lost in the gravel. Is it still possible for some of the eggs to hatch even if they are lost in the gravel? This was my first experience ever with breeding fish, which was a total accident but I would love to give it another try. This time I'm a little more prepared, put the slate in the tank, got Ph kits, took out the Red Devil, etc . . . Still have a few question though.

Should I take out my 9" Pleco? Oscars are about 6" inches each. Albino Tiger.

How soon will my Oscars be able to breed again?

The stomach of one of my Oscars looks a lot darker than it use too? Is that from breeding? They look like they are already going through the breeding ritual again, but it's only been a day since she laid the original set of eggs. Is it possible she's trying again, so soon?

Sorry all my question are in different post, but I keep thinking of new ones and want to be prepared for whatever comes up.

Thank You

Hi don't worry,
If fed properly and good water params etc...your oscars can breed again in two weeks. Yes definitely, pleco may eat the eggs, oscars may eat the eggs also if they fear that the eggs are not safe, that's why was recommended moving out the other fish.
