Who has info on C.Cintrinellum as I would like to hear from you. I would like to buy some also. I seen this giant fish at Barcelona La Quarium and it was about 14 inches long and 7 inches high..It was pale orange and seemed to be the head poncho (king Poobar)of its tank.

Hey I looked online for anyinfo and came up with very little. I did find a place selling them but it was based out of ireland, and I didnt see if they would ship internationally... I didnt even find a site that had a pic. I think you might have a hard time finding them unless you are luckier then I.

That is weird I put it into alta vista and I came up with only 2 sites neither of which was very helpful...seems like I would have gotten a ton of hits with something as commonplace as a red devil... Oh well thanks for the info guys I was stumped there :P

According to my references, Amphilophus labiatus is the red devil. Amphilophus citrinellus is the midas cichlid, which is normally sold as the red devil.

Thanks to all who have replied..-Much appreciated. Tonight, I was lucky enough to find a site which was very good. The site shows about ten awsome cichlids such as the C.Citrinellum and is a must for you all to see. It was a chance thing to find but it is:-www.jef-b.com
Then select "Cichlids" button which takes you straight there. No im not on commission but maybe I should get some!. There is a wolf cichlid about 18 inches long amongst others. Later....DBS
PS the picture second from bottom (Yellow) was the one I seen...

You are correct to Jay. I have moved my reply Jay to Cichlids Forum under Cichlasoma Cintrinellum. I am trying to get some organization on the BBS. Keeping Oscar information with Oscars and all other Cichlid questions/answers under Cichlid forum >.=)
