Free-swimming Fry

Postby Woodrow on Sat May 26, 2001 4:21 pm

This is new for me. I have hundreds of free-swimming Jack Dempsey fry in my 46-gallon tank along with their parents. Do I feed them or will the mother take care of them? If it is my responsibility to feed them, what do they eat? Approximately how many will survive? Surely not all. Any feedback is appreciated.

or, you could feed them frozen baby brine. they are so small you probabaly cant even see them. they'll gobble those up fast and plus, they get bigger faster eatin brine.

baby brine is the best thing to feed. but it will foul your water quickly and the fry are very sensitive to this so water changes are a must
