I bought some oscars 2 from Petsmart they are about 5 1/2 to 6 inchs and I believe they have hole in the head disease. My husband wants to get rid of them now so we can have a community tank. So, here is my question, We have a bio wheel and I was wondering if I would have to replace them when I get rid of my oscars? I do not want other fish that we will get to get this disease. Can somebody help me out?

Hi, and congrats on your new fish! Sorry to hear about the HITH, personally I wouldn't worry too much about replacing the biowheel, the jury's still out on how contagious...in fact I would try to treat the poor suckers if possible. (make sure to do lots of water changes and keep water quality crystal clear and perfect as possible, ie no toxins from waste or chlorineamine etc..., remove any activated carbon also..)
