HI and welcome..
first of all, U wil find that Oscars once they pair up, wil KILL the others off. so U are better going with 4 and see who pairs off than 6.. The 2 other oscars wil be easier to find homes for or U can get another tank for them..
Another problem here is your tank. A corner tank is not really a Length long tank, but taller. Oscars are crusers and really like a long tank.. BUT I am unsure on how big your corner tank is, so one pair will do fine AT adult sizes 12+" and they get that big with in a years time.
On the sharks.. NO.. Oscars wil EAT anything they can get into their mouths, so a long slinder fish like the Sharks is a bad Idea. I know, mine at my silver shark when the Oscar was only 4", the silver shark was 3". U might get by with a larger sized Shark, but still, when the Oscar gets big enough and can catch him, he might get eaten..
Fish tank mates for these guys should be only compressed cichlids. Like a Severum and or Silver Dollars.. Any of the others need to be sub-adult size, say a Green Terror or Jack Dempseys bigger than the Oscars.. NO smaller than the Oscar being a long lenght wise cichlid willl survive a growing Oscar..
sounds like a great tank. You just need to rethink the tank mates..
Any pics of your tank?? Would be neat to see one this big!! I hve a 35gal hex, but I cannot imagine a 186 gal corner tank..
