What is the best staple food to you can give a convict?

I'm giving them hikari cichlids gold baby pellets, flake food and frozen brine shrimp. Is this combination okay?

Hello- I have 1 pink & 1 striped convict. I feed them the same brand you do, except I use the sticks. They seem to be able to crush the sticks easier as the pellets seem much harder. They are healthy and growing rapidly. regards AL

I have always used hikari cichlids gold pellets and cichlid flake foods. Its basically trial and error. They will eat what they like and spit out what they don't >.=)
