my 9 mo. old oscar is not eating for the last 3 days. seems to be fine- no outward signs of any other problems. lives in a 55 with a pleco & blue fin terror. they are both fine and eating well. the oscar is active and swimming-just not interested in food. should i be concerned? water changes are on schedule. please respond

Hi
Whats the water conditions like?
What do you feed him? Maybe try something different.
They do tend to get sick of the same thing everyday and go off their food. They can go a while without food, so if the others are feeding ok, there are no visible signs of disease and water conditions are good it should not be anything serious.

Regards

oscar not eating

Postby alann on Sun Apr 08, 2001 10:43 am

hi everyone - he is on a diet of pellets as a staple food with occasional live goldfish. yesterday,i tried some live crickets and he took two of them but did not hit them with much interest. water conditions are good. I guess i'll try a water change just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the reply- regards al
