Penguin 350 Question

Postby Bymers42 on Thu Jun 19, 2008 8:41 pm

I have a penguin 350 from an old FW setup that I want to use as a hob refugium for my 30gal SW tank. However, the flow rate is too high. I was wondering if anyone knew for sure if the impellers for the different penguin filters were interchangeable. Like if i would get an impeller for a penguin 100 would it fit in and run in my 350? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry don't know, but I was thinking you could maybe use a nozzle/jetstream diffuser.....or just diy make one yourself to attenuate the outflow...
