Hello 2 all ! Its been a while but I have quick question about fish from the bait store and fish from the pet store. I know feeder fish arent good to give to the oscars, but from time to time I give them a dozen. But I was just wondering Will it be better to give them minnows from the bait store rather than feeders from the pet store? By the way my O's are doing fine !

I don't really know that much about minnows, ie if they're somehow genetically more impervious to disease. I would think the main thing is getting live bait from a trusted source who doesn't keep them in bad disease-prone conditions. You want to have some confidence the fish you feed them won't end up killing them. Personally, I've used goldfish and never had a problem but I was selective and made sure they at least looked healthy to me...
