They are fab, have you got any Chineese Water Dragons I had two, and loved them. Could you post other pics in a seperate post so like you said dial up people dont have to wait too long xxx

nope,sorry I've cut way back on keeping reptiles since I made this thread (June 27, 2005,),needed the room for fish.

I spend too much time here, thats why I often end up replying to post from ages ago lol! Sorry still great pics tho 

As u've kept alot of reptiles as well as fish, it made me wonder if you have combined the two and kept turtles? If you have that would be great as I'm really thinking about getting a couple of Sliders so I could pick ur brains. Hope ur well.

I've kept some turtles.

At different times I've had a little of everything.
I used to collect (catch) and breed a lot of reptiles.
I own a wholesale company (pet store supply) so I've seen and had alot over the years.

Red Eared Sliders (and any similar) have been a legal headache/mess in Ohio for about the last 9 years though so I haven't kept any of those in a while.

Wow! Guess it makes sense that you have had so many animals then lol, My lfs are selling up, thier askin £18000 inc stock really been thinkin about trying to raise the money n change my career. More great pics! How big do sliders grow? Are turtles good pets?

Most of the sliders get up around 12" (30 cm)

Good pet? depends what you like I guess, compared to lots of other stuff water turtles are a lot of work to keep right/clean.

Thanks for the link, I have sensed from the lit I have read that they are hard work to keep clean, but thats ok. IMO My water dragons were the easiest to look after out of any pet I have ever owned, they were great pets, my male became extremely tame. Are there any types of turtle that I could keep with my red tailed cat, once I build my indoor pond? Guess once the rtc becomes adult size he'll just eat them tho  so maybe two ponds will be needed!

Dang, nice scales! I had a bearded dragon once, he was in the backyard and I caught him. Then the fatherly one made me release him. Chameleons are sweet though, can't get any of those here, and how did you manage to get yourself a bearded dragon!!!!

If you like aussie scales try a monitor lizard on for size or a frilly(frill necked lizard)

Carpet pythons also make great pets, had one when I was younger....Well, Dad did anyway haha,
