as i posted i losta o this week  ever sence then my other one has been sad staying at the botton of the tank.  now he is about 8 to 10in should i get another o to put in the tank with him (the pet shop only has babies)

IMO you don't need to be in a rush.  You don't need to get another one exactly the same size.  Just make sure it's too big to be eaten.  Before adding the new fish, shift your decor around a bit to obscure your O's idea of what exactly his territory is.  Good luck!
