.I began by having a Biorb as a Christmas present, and naturally put all the wrong fish in it . The Orb is basically a 60 litre fishbowl. Mine contained 3 red tailed black sharks ( rapidly only had 1 RTS ) 1 gibby plec, 3 dwarf gourami, and neons that lasted all of 5 mins before deciding to float.
Anyway, I feel I've come a long way in this hobby since then
and of course I've been bitten by the chichlid bug.Current tanks the Orb in the bedroom containing 15 cardinals, 1 cherry barb, 3 phantom tetras plants
20 gallon juwel in the kitchen containing corys, khulis, guppies and a baby bristlenose
30 gallon tank in the front room containing 1 breeding pair of Convicts ( on their 5 th spawn...at the momment there is 3 generations ..mum and dad...4 babies from 1 spawn , about 1/2 inch long, and a new set of fry )
40 gallon tank in the study containing my reason for being here 1 tiger Oscar and a female JD.
Hubby and I have just paid for a new juwel tank rio 400 for the front room ( 100 gallon) to put the Oscar and JD in .
I am looking for peoples experiences with these stupendous fish.
