Have 125gal tank with 3aqua clear 110 H.O.B. The tank has 3 Oscars and 1 jack Dempsey.
Question is this enough filtration for the Bio load.

What's the GPH rating on these three ACs? For a 125 with 3 Oscars and a JD you need around 1000 GPH filtration with weekly water changes -- tmbsup

These wil do for now, but as Mark says, with Oscars, you do need more of a GPH turn over.. these are rated for a 100 gal tank, so 3 of them wil get you by just fine..

See this on them.. Is this your filters that you have???  Confussing on the GPH thou, it says 168 to 500 GPH Per filter. It can't be this low, then back high..  But this could be a miss print..

The AC 110 used to be the model 500.  They renamed it to 110 in large part because that's the size aquarium it's rated to take care of.  With a light bioload it would probably be fine for your 125.  However, with 3 O's and a JD it isn't enough.  I use the same filter on my 125 (2 Uarus, 2 Severums, and a Gibbiceps), but I supplement it with an Eheim 2217 cannister filter.  The two together do a good job.  You could also just add a 2nd AC 110, Emperor 400, or any number of other good filters.  Some people like the Magnum 350 cannister filter.  In any event, I do recommend about double the filtration you're now using, along with a regular water change regimen.

Marineland Multi-Stage C360 Canister Filter is rated for 100gal if I combine it with a A/C 110 with this work for a 125 gal tank. Kinda working on a budget here. what would you suggest??
Thanks for assistance

Here is a link to a great fish store on line that has ALL fish supplies on sale now.. So check them out and see if this is not a better deal for you to do.. YOU need a credit card OR request a catalog and pay by check or M order.. Either way it is a LOT cheaper on line than at a LFS.. good luck..   :toothy9:

Here is BigAls on line that has some great deals going now too. EMPERORS are on sale here cheaper!! :

Petsolutions is another great site to compair with. YOU can request a catalog on all of these places at left side bar AND get E-Mail species weekly.. Emperors cost more here SO it is always best to check around for good prices..

Yes, with disciplined weekly water changes. Marineland (which makes Penguin, Magnum, Aquatech, and Emporor) also makes a bio-wheel attachment for their canisters that would be a nice addition.
