I just noticed that all over the glass of my 150 that there are little tiny white worm things all over. They're really tiny and all moving around. They weren't there 2 hours ago that I saw. It's like the just appeared out of nowhere.

Could it be because our filter needs a really good cleaning? We have a Fluval FX5 filter. We clean it every half a month to every month. Could that be why the worms came?

Are they going to hurt my Oscars? How do I get rid of them?

Chances are that they're larvae of small flies/gnats that hang out near the waterline.  Doesn't necessarily mean your filter needs cleaning, but could very well mean that you're overfeeding the tank somewhat.  Maybe do a good gravel vac, and watch how much food you're putting in.  If they don't clean it up in 4 minutes, it's too much.  Keep up with your water changes.

Some kind of a bottom feeder will help get rid of them, I got things like that when I've fed Tubafix worms, or blood worms. 

We have been cleaning the tank out more and not feeding this fish as much to see if that's the problem. We haven't been letting food settle or anything.

The lfs said to put salt in it. We did that and then the glass was covered in twice as many worms. Is that them dying from the salt or trying to get away from it?

I can't put any type of bottom feeder in there because my O's will go crazy and eat him (they're pretty big). I have a foot long pleco in there but all he does is poop, so he doesn't help.

Chances are that it's not how much your feeding (Although the worms would benifit from the available food) as opposed to what you are feeding.......  I wouldn't get totally stressed out about it because they are obviously not a parasite to your fish.  The only way you may be able to get rid of them is a long drawn out battle of more frequent water changes to try and get rid of the eggs.  I'm not sure what kind of med to use for it however, that may be a more viable option.
