Hello there

Postby Jewles on Mon Jun 04, 2007 12:03 pm

Hi, I will start with the tanks that I have, 180 Gallon with 4 Green Severums, a pair of Cobolt Blue Cichlids, a breeding pair of Auratus, 2 male and 1 female Mel Johanni, a pair of Kenyi, 4 Yellow Labs, 2 Jack Dempsey's, 2 Blue Gouramis, 2 Silver sharks with red tails, 4 large Tinfoil barbs, 2 8" ID Sharks, 2 Large plecos, and a few other cichlids that I don't know what they are.(It may be a bit on the full side, but everyone gets along great!!!)

130 Gallon with 3 12" Oscars, 1 18" Albino Channel Cat, 1 11" Pleco, and 2 other Cichlids that I don't know what they are either.

50 Gallon with 2 large Fancy Goldfish, 1 Koi that looks more like the shape of a goldfish than Koi, and 1 6" Pleco.

40 Gallon with 2 Angels, 2 Pictus Cats, 2 Columbian Sharks, and a HUGE Apple Snail.

30 Gallon Brackish tank with Mollies, 2 Hand Fed Dragon Gobies, and a Pleco. (Had to move the Columbian's since they were eating the babies).

They have been running between 1 and 3 years, with most of the same fish.

As for myself, I live in Ontario Canada and am a Communication's Technician in the Military, we have 3 Teenage Boys, and my husband is currently serving in Afganistan till the end of Aug 07.

Nice to meet you Jewles, I'm in Scotland, military as well (Av Tech in RAF) & off to the gulf next month  :crybaby2:

Sounds like you've got multiple tank syndrome, a bit like myself.    ;D

I am going to have to downsize the population a bit before I go over because I know they won't get the same care.

Welcome and YES you have multiple tank syndrome!! Just like the rest of us..  :occasion14:

IF you can post a pic of the fish you dont' know what they are, we can all help Id them for you..

Best to do so in the cichild forum, not here in the member intro..

To post a pic, go to http://www.photobucket.com to host the pic for you then do the "bottom link given" and post the link in a post.. IF you have to use the flash, do so slightly sideways into the glass, not dead on as it will show in the pic..
