Been working on this tank since I returned from deployment in February, of course with 12 hour shifts and a 3 week trip to Alaska thrown in between then and now it is not yet complete. But there is not much left to it besides paneling in the stand/sump and getting some cabinet doors, sanding and staining/sealing the entire outside. Here are pictures. The original plans came from http://www.garf.org but I did some minor modifications, and the stand is my own design. The tank has been filled, the sump filled, and the entire system ran without any leaks. Following are pics. Any questions feel free to ask. They are somewhat in order. I seem to be missing a couple of the starting out ones.

Some things have changed on it as well. I am no longer using the HOB filter housings for my returns, I just have standard 1" tubing running back for the return. The overflow's were designed with a link from monsterfishkeepers.com, and seem to work really well. I have yet to get the cabinet doors, those are a project for this week. Once those are on I will be ready for the final sand and seal, and the tank will be ready to run. I am hoping to get everything done by this weekend, weather permitting of course.
Here are the updated pictures, am working on sealing it right now. Not going to stain just going to seal it with an acrylic. Should be completely done here shortly!!
