million dollar Q

um i had had the idea of using like one of those farmhand troughs for a fish tank for my O and i did the math and u get 359 gallons for $168!  BUt it's gallvanized steel i think, would this be harmful to the fish?  Need everyone's help on this one bcuz if i can't get this then i wont have a big enough tank for my O and will have to either give away my acaras or my O!  So help pleez!

It might work.  The purpose of galvanized metal is to prevent leaching into the water.  I believe there are also plastic "stock tanks" that might be worth checking out.

they only have small ones, they had 40 gallons 4 the same price as a metal 359 gallon!
