ARE you sure it is ich?? sometimes a white dot can get on the fins and that does not mean it is ICH.. IF he has a bad reation to the meds, then do 25% water change and delute them some..
YOU CAN NOT KILL ICH WHILE THEY ARE ON THE FISH, THEY HAVE TO BE OFF!!
IT is like a tick, once it is buried in the fish, meds can't touch it..
TURN THE HEAT UP TO 82F ( 27.c) AFTER YOU DELUTE THE MEDS WITH A WATER CHANGE!!) WAIT until the ich falls off them dose the tank at 1/2 dose, in a few hours, do the other hafe dose.. This should be better for him to react better to the meds and not have a bad reaction to them..
IF this is a baby oscar, just do the hafe dose DAILY WHEN THEY FALL OFF AS HE MIGHT NOT SURVIVE THE TREATMENTS.. Keep the heat up for one week, then turn the heater down to 76F and leave it their..
A CONSTANT TEMPERTURE KEEPS ICH AWAY.. IF you do NOT have a heater, get one and set it at 76F AFTER this ich treatment..
