Can I add my new tiger oscar (2") to my tank?  I have 2 cichlids 4.5" and 7", 2 gourami's and 2 paridise fish are in the tank 55 gallon?

Completely depends on what type of Cichlids (4.5" and 7") that you have. --Mark

I got them from a freind about 6 months ago.  She said they were terquoise cichlid.

The Oscar wil EAT the paradise fish and any other that is small and slinder.. NOT a good idea to add in a Oscar to this tank.. I would fnd another place for the paradise fish and then add in the Oscar.. That would work better.. Turquoise cichlids? Now, that could be a few different species.. but they seem to be American cichlids, so they should do fine.. The Gouramies are also Ok for now, but may become a meal later if it is the smaller ones.. Oscars will eat anything they can get into their mouths..
