the best way to move the Oscar is to get one of those 10/15 gal totes and fill it in the bath tube with tap water and let it sit for a few hours to leach out.. COLD WATER ONLY!! then drian and add in some of the tank water, a few cups is fine,  slosh that around good and pour that out,.. Fill it to about hafe full and place the Oscar in it and fill it some more to completely cover the oscar..  remember thou that U have to pic this up, so to much water may make this diffiiclut.. a dolly comes in handy here...

IF they left the air-pump, run the stone in this until you can get the TANK reset up or the oscar to another tank ASAP..
Keep the lid on also as they are jumpers.. do an X in the lid so you can run the airstone line in, BUT not pinch off the air flow..

ARE you keeping the tank?? If you are, best to keep 50% of the water so when you do relocate the tank, you dont' have to worry about cycling again.. Don't clean the filters until you do another water change on this tank.. THAT should be in 5-6 days..

When draining the tank, dont' disturb the gravel until you get the water out that you can save.. Best to then really move the gravel around to get the crude out as you siphon/bucket/cup out the rest..

R U keeping the gravel?  If so, put it in several buckets and rinse it before U put it back in tank.  move the stand first to where ever UR putting it and then move tank.  I also recommend the U keep all the equipment in a box so U keep it all together.  Run the tank for a couple of hours or so, so U know its running right and temperature is where its supposed to be.  always age or dechlorinate new water before U add it, I prefer to age it bcuz in my 6 meager months of experience using to many chemicals is bad for ur fish and therefor bad for U.  dont feed oscar until following day, any food U might add could be left untouched and pollute the tank. Good Luck :icon_biggrin: :tongue8:
