CichlidFish.com - Fish That Think.

I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 large oscars.. I have no idea how to take care of them...before yall start thinking "what are you doing with fish?" They were left behind.. because my former roommate had nowhere to take them.. Now the only fish I ever had were goldfish when I was like 7.. and they didnt have all this stuff.. just a bowl.. (moms wasnt buying any filters and gravel etc.. "not for no fish thats gone die next week")..so I havent a clue what to do.. ive changed the filter pads before but thats about it..

Hi, and welcome to the forum.  Congratulatins on your fish!  You have the right idea, looking for info on how to care for them.  I won't try to inundate you with info all at once.  You might try looking through the various threads here in the Oscar section.  Also check out the Aquaria FAQ's.  Here's a link to one you might find usefulel:
