Hopefully sombody can help, every time I click show 'unread posts' or 'replies', I'm shown nothing yet I can see that there were at least 7 or 8 posts since my last visit.

There for a while their were NO new posts/topics. I had the same probem seeing the same as you are.. BUT now as more are getting on, that should show more as more post.. AS the forum was moved, it takes time for some to join and post.. That shout box is more of a problem than a solution IMO...    AS some are using that ONLY.. I am not a fan of Shout boxes.. Some ppl just dont' think and are posting on that only.. IT is hard to help anyone their.. MY fish is sick,help me is NOT a good discription of the problem..    :argue:  I just dont' like using them.. They make me want to   AND thats not helping the fish out any..

SO folks.. PLEASE POST IN THE FORUM AND NOT THE SHOUT BOX!!

I agree about the shout box.  What's the point?  Both Fuzzy and I have already posted about the "new posts" issue.  It still isn't working.

Mine is better now as I am on more and answering more.. so that makes a difference.. I dont' use the default forum.. I am on that one called cerberus.. MAN I like this.. AND the shout box is not here.. so I dont' see it.. Also What about the live chat/support one.. best go to our private board for my ?? on that one.. I am sure it is going to be a  debate...   

Just a quick question, what is the shout box there for? Is it ok to leave brief messages in there or does it just annoy people. And the live chat is that for general chit chat and for you guys to talk people through things. I guess what I'm asking is am I annoying people by using the shout box and live chat section the way I do?

I don't know.  I hardly ever look at the shout box.  Too chaotic for me.  I find the forums structure to be more comfortable and efficient.

I like the chit-chat but dont' care for the shout box.. As I use a different fourum look, I dont' see the shout box..
