I have a 125 g cichlid tank in it's beginning months. I have 5 yellow labs and 2 Kenyi Cichlids. When I purchased the Kenyi's I had 2 girls and 1 boy. One girl died in a bacterial bloom. As that cleared up my other female began to morph on me from blue, to yellow. She used to be a pale blue, more pale than her counterpart, but had no yellow. She is much larger than the yellow male, is still not a full yellow like him but is still the pale blue with strong hints of yellow..... so what is he/she? He/she is a digger, is certainly the dominant person in the tank which indicates male to me, but.... he/she should have changed colors by now, right? I might add that although small and faint there appears to be an egg spot showing up... but it's no where near the size, brightness or clarity as the yellow guy.
I have a few pictures of the tank and one where his/her face is visible but it is hard to get him/her to take a good photo that captures the color variances.what!?
