I have 3 cichlids one i know is a bumble bee cichlid. one was blue but has now turned yellowish and the other is pure orange. I think the yellow is male because he has those crystals on the ends of his tail.... but anyway there is now a baby cichlid in the tank from.... my guess is the "blue" and orange cichlid. I've seen the blue one shake and earlier today it looked like the orange one was 'kissing' the blue one under this log we have in there. But the orange one is now all decrepid looking..... with what looks like chewed up fins and patches missing on his body. It seems to me as though they are mating again. the bumble bee cichlid isn't really affected.... but gets the most abuse from the yellow cichlid.... so i was wondering if this is just what happens when mating? or should I take him out... ? anything else about there mating would be great too. I couldn't really find much when searching the internet.
