feeder fish

There are arguments for and against. Main value of feeders is entertainment for the fishkeeper. Main risk is introduction of disease or parasite (it happens!). Pellets are best choice as a staple diet. You can supplement with crickets, mealworms (both available at pet stores), freeze-dried krill, frozen prawns, silversides, stray wandering bugs, etc. These things all function best as treats, with the main diet being one or more varieties of high-quality pellets.
