The smaller fish in the ten gallon should be fine in plastic bags. You can probably find bags big enough for the O as well, but you might also consider a styrofoam cooler. I've used them successfully with large fish. Good luck on your move!

I moved an adult Oscar about 600 miles (1 day drive) in a cooler. He was fine after the move -- a little angry, but healthy. Every hour or so I took a little pitcher and removed most of the water (leaving a little for him to breathe in) and replaced it with fresh water. When we stopped to eat I brought the cooler in the restaurant with me so it wouldn't overheat in the hot car. --Mark:cool:

hey go to like walmart or a sporting goods store and in the fishing and hunting section there is this air box for fishermen, it is called a bubble box, and it takes two d' batterys and will last for about four or six hours with good batterys, i use it when the power goes out, great use of like five bucks!!!!! trust me, it can keep air flowing in my 90 gal, so i trust it.:D best of luck

You can also get a power inverter to plug into your cigarette lighter, and hook up a regular little air pump.
