A nice Pleco would be good. We have a Pleco in with our Oscar and she loves him. Not to mention, the pleco will clean up after her!!!! They make great tank cleaners....and they get alot of good food from the Oscar left overs.....make sure you have a nice cave or something for them to hide in.....good luck. For some nice species...go to http://www.exoticfinds.com.....they have some awsome creatures. We bought 2 vampire pleco's from them and they are just beautiful....

Congratulations on your new Oscar! A 120 is a nice-size tank for him (?). A pleco isn't a bad choice -- I keep them in all of my tanks. Be aware that there are many different species of pleco. Some grow quite large, and don't much care for the company of other plecos. I'd suggest you take a look at different types, find one you like, then do some research online to see how big they get, what they need as a diet, whether they get along with other plecos, etc. I don't know how large your Oscar is right now, but eventually you'll want to provide some kind of shelter for the pleco -- a rock cave of some sort perhaps, or a driftwood arrangement -- for when your Oscar gets in a feisty mood. Even with the pleco you'd still have room for another playmate or 2. What people like varies, so I won't tell you what to get. Take a look through our photo galleries, or look in your local shops. Again, look up the fish you like in forums like this, or using Google, and find out what kind of a neighbor it would be for your Oscar. What temperatures does it like, what foods, etc. Fishkeeping can be great fun, but when war breaks out in your tank because your fish don't get along, it's isn't much fun anymore. A stitch in time...

Best of luck with your new pet! Keep us posted!
