ok has anybody elses o's eyes ever turned white just around their eye, it looks like she is wearing white eye-liner? my aunt said that she could be going blind, one of hers did that. and it isn't cloudly eye i have delte with that enough in the past few months i know what its signs are. she has been getting real mean and not wanting to eat? usaly she is the first to the top of the tank but here lately she eats but she isn't real enthushed about feding time, and i am seeing a whole heck of a lot of gill flaring and bright colors like she is mad or wanting to lay? so anyone got any ideas?!?!!?!? i am really worried about her.

possibly a bacterial infection of some sorts,, try treating with a gram negative infection type antibiotic like amoxicillin.

i've got some melafix will that work? it is just like someone put white circles around her eyes, it is the weridest thing? i hope it isnt something bad? thanks tony

melafix is kinda just a general tonic for mild fin rot and other mild stuff.

Id keep a close eye on it as the last thing you want is blind in 1 eye..

Maybe do some daily small water changes for a while and the use of melafix wont hurt any just improve oxygen if you use it.

okie dokie then. it just worries me. i looked at her today and it seems to be clearing up on its own, but i will do some water changes and keep an eye on it. thanks tony

Like Tony said, do some waterchanges.
Cloudy eye is generally an indication of poor water quality.
The water may be infected with a bacteria, or just be swing through levels of high ammonia, nitrite, nitrate.
