my oscar has developed some kind of pimple like thing under the lower left side of his lip. it looks a little swollen too. any ideas on what it is and how to treat it.

Any chance of us seeing a pic?

It could be a Collision lesion. Do you see your O digging into your substrata? or find areas of the bottom that have obviously been dug up?

im in the processing of figuring out how to post a pic and im pretty sure this wasnt caused by digging or a scratch from the rocks.

It quite common for Oscars to develope a pimple on their bottom side of the lower lip. In most case's its from gravel moving. Not always however so keep and eye on it.
