hey,
rite now, i have one eheim canister filter working my 55gal tank. when i try to siphon the gravel( and by the way, what should i use to siphon it?) the cloud of dust juss stay there..after a few days..the cloud is still there...do i need a new filter? if i do..what should i get?

Sometimes might help using some of those solutions that supposedly clear your water, they basically make the very small dust particles stick together so that your filter can take them out. Try using finer filter material. A magnum 350 has that ultra-fine filter option that filters out very very small stuff...
