yes and no wen u feed him he maby will just jump for food i have hade that happen and u dont and to puck u 10 or 12 inch oacar of the floor or cume home to a died oscar. just go to a glass shop. thay will cut u a glass lid .i have one fo my 33 gal i just have feeder gold fish in
