CichlidFish.com - Fish That Think.

O.k my wife is done with her 10 gal. community tank. All that's left in there are 2 med. sized Tiger Barbs. All I have are cichlid tanks:cool: So does anyone think that tiger barbs would do o.k in a small cichlid tank? I mean barbs are very fast fish and kinda mean...for sissy fish that is. I think they might be able to avoid the larger tank mates.

So what do you think?

I think being only the two, possible dinner. If it was a group of 8 or more, I would say go for it.
I have read of people having barbs in with cichlids, sucsessfully,
but it was in larger numbers.
Barbs can be very agressive in larger schools, but depending upon the fish you have, I'd try them in the tank, worse case, they are dinner. what!?
