Red Devil

I received a RD about 10 inches,about a week ago,I don't think he's eating right.I've been offering him Hikari pellets but he doesn't seem to eat it.I would like some suggestions,Thank's.

A ten inch RD? You can throw the family dog and your daughter's boyfriend in the tank and that would feed him for 1/2 of a day :D Seriously, though, no Cichlid that I have ever owned has ever eaten Hikari. They all turn up their noses. My suggestion is to try some other foods. Others here in the forum have had good success with Hikari (or claim so . . .), but not me. --Mark:cool:

hi all from london i seem to think i have problem with hole in the head my fish have pits not deep little pits but they are eating fine please could you help the fishes are 3 midas,1 urathalmus,1synspilum
