Will this guy's markings improve with age? He's 3" right now with some decent markings of red on his head and his back. I've seen some with fantastic reds through their whole body. First time Severum owner.

Will this guy's markings improve with age?

depends on the strain

I know that the strain will make a difference with how well he is marked, I was wondering if Severums in general grow into their colors.? Like how Oscars as juvies have little red and as they age the color becomes more prodominant, or changes all together. I'm not looking for a show stopping Severum just curious about their differences as juvies to adulthood.

It also depends on the sex, but i had one that looked farely similar at that age and by the time he was 6" the red on his face became very vibrant but not over powering the gold at the same time.
