Hi there can anyone give me any clues as to a cichlid i have, I dont know what it is, It is one I nursed to health from a shop

Sorry its about 6" long, Blue and yellow, mainly blue, with yellow underfins and spots on those and his tale fin. The female is a plane grey brown with faint stripes. They are mouth breeders. Would normaly cost £25-£40 a pair £40 for ones this size.

Could be some sort of peacock, but that's just a guess without a photo.

Thanks mate, its a midnight peacock, aulonacara huerse, lake malawi cichlid. Good job I found out my tank is not set up right, but will be.
