spilos are serrasalmus spilopleura, aka Black diamond piranha, a most vicious species of piranha which will attack pretty much anything. The injured piranha was only a pygocentrus natteri, aka Red bellied piranha, which is a lot smaller and a lot less aggressive than it's cousins. So basically that red belly had been outgunned.

lol....it was so fun messing w/ my LFS owner

a week ago i visite a fish store.....i noticed they had a lot of small piranhas in a small tank w/ the lights off. (piranhas are illegal in the place i live...california)...anyways... i asked him if they were piranha's just for the fun of it...lol he sed it was pacu's....i just laughed asked how much...he sed 15....i laughed even more.... 15$ for a 1.5" pacu is a ripoff..... i knoe theyre piranhas...stop tring to lie....i knoe theyre illegal....they guy got scared....and started to tell me all this crap about piranha...trying to make me intrested.... lol.... then i sed, my uncles part of the fish/game department thing and i can have him come in any time....lol....and the guy got scared.

a week after i came in..... the P's were gone and the turtles were gone.....the officers were there examining some pikes of some sort i heard it was a "arrowpika" or something....

anyways...it wasnt my fault the officers came in...
